Under Paris Is the French jAws

Under Paris – Sous La Seine has perfect timing, less than 50 days before the Summer Olympic Games in Paris 2024, wouldn’t you say? In the film, on the eve of an international triathlon in Paris in the Seine waters, a deadly mutant shark called Lilith, makes her way in the Seine, under the Catacombs where she starts her breeding ground. The scientist who placed a tracker during an ocean observation expedition that turned into a bloody bath will face her old demons to lure the beast out of Paris and back into the ocean with the help of the ecological group. But things don’t work out that way! Directed by Xavier Gens (Budapest, Cold Skin), Under Paris (Sous la Seine) stars César Award winner Bérénice Bejo, Nassim Lyes, Léa Léviant … and one very dangerous shark.

By the way, the swimming competition events at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics are scheduled from July 27 to August 9, 2024. Pool events (July 27 to August 4) will take place at the Paris La Défense Arena, with the two-day marathon swimming (August 8 & 9 ) staged at Pont Alexandre III across the Seine River. Swimmers, be forewarned!
