Today, French A L.A Carte Blog is a bilingual online magazine with an audience of Francophones and Francophiles all over the world that celebrates and features French Culture and Lifestyle in the USA, it travels in the United States From Los Angeles to Dallas and places in between, the French culture and lifestyle is alive and well in the United States.

In the early 1990’s before the internet craze, Guylaine Simone Gamble, a native of France who grew up in California coined the name “French A L.A Carte”  for her business venture called French A L.A Carte for kids of All Ages while teaching French to kids and adults in Los Angeles.

Born in the North of France an hour away from Paris, Guylaine moved to the U.S as a child in the 70s and kept her native language and roots as well as her love for the French culture and is truly a French-American. A self-confessed gourmande who loves to share the French joie de vivre, culture & lifestyle through articles in this blog. (this was the very first blog post.)
