The Editor

Guylaine Simone Gamble is the founder and editor of French A L. A Carte Blog. French American born and raised in Hauts-de-France an hour away from Paris, Guylaine grew up in Los Angeles, California, and relocated to the Lonestar state with her family. She is a self-confessed gourmande who loves to share the French joie de vivre and lifestyle with her readers on the blog. Professionally, Guylaine enjoys wearing many hats.

She created the French A L.A Carte Blog to celebrate French culture and art de vivre. In the early 1990’s before the internet craze, Guylaine coined the name French A L.A Carte for Kids of All Ages teaching French to kids and adults in Los Angeles. Today, French A L.A Carte Blog is a bilingual online magazine with an audience of Francophones and Francophiles worldwide.

Following over a decade of teaching in the elementary classroom, she still enjoys helping students of all ages as a French language coach.

As a natural-born communicator, voice-overs came naturally with many years of experience in the classroom using her voice as an instrument and her sidekicks in acting. She enjoys the intuitive, creative process and being in the flow to use her natural abilities in Voice Acting.

An aspiring author, at the age of 16, she started journaling about her intuitive everlasting search for truth which led to the book project in the making God Always Has Your Back based on life inspired by the Bible, the best-selling book of all times. In this simple yet profound book, she felt compelled to write about her challenging journey and personal experience with new age and occult philosophies and hopefully reach and inspire people who may still feel disillusioned, sidetracked, searching, and wandering…a road she knows too well that took her years to get out of, through the grace of God.

With a passion for inspiration, she enjoys nature, photography, and putting it all together to live a purpose-driven life. aka @veryinspiredpro (most of the time) 🙂
