What a good find! A dozen authentic French Macarons for a fraction of the cost at Aldi’s*** and they taste just like their more expensive cousins. These petits macarons are scrumptious and melt in your mouth delightful, just big enough for a blissful bite. This sweet naughty dozen offers 12 handmade macarons and the flavors all taste very natural. Enjoy 2 of each: Vanilla, Pistachio, Raspberry, Salted Caramel,Lemon, and Chocolate. I loved them all but my favorites were lemon and pistachio.

The macarons are fresh and come frozen with four servings per package 4.65 oz (132g) for $4.99. One serving is about three macarons at 150 calories, 3 grams saturated fat, 20 mgsodium, and 18 grams sugars, with 13 grams added sugars. The main ingredients are: almond powder, egg white, sugar, raspberry filling (raspberries, raspberry purée ), sugar, dehydrated glucose syrup, lemon juice, pectin, stabilizer: xanthan gum, skimmed milk powder, natural raspberry flavor), vanilla filling.

***So far these little delights are still available in the freezer section at Aldi since the holiday and hopefully they’ll go from seasonal to regular items.

Let them eat Macarons!
