Les Petits Macarons chez Aldi

What a good find! A dozen authentic French Macarons for a fraction of the cost at Aldi’s*** and they taste just like their more expensive cousins. These petits macarons are scrumptious and melt in your mouth, delightful, just big enough for a blissful bite. This sweet, naughty dozen offers 12 handmade macarons, and the flavors all taste very natural. Enjoy 2 of each: Vanilla, Pistachio, Raspberry, Salted Caramel, Lemon, and Chocolate. I loved them all, but my favorites were lemon and pistachio.

The macarons are fresh and come frozen with four servings per package, 4.65 oz (132g) for $4.99. One serving is about three macarons at 150 calories, 3 grams of saturated fat, 20 mg of sodium, 18 grams of sugar, 13 grams of added sugars. The main ingredients are: almond powder, egg white, sugar, raspberry filling (raspberries, raspberry purée ), dehydrated glucose syrup, lemon juice, pectin, stabilizer: xanthan gum, skimmed milk powder, natural raspberry flavor, vanilla filling.

So far, these little delights are still available in the freezer section at Aldi since the holiday, and hopefully, they’ll go from seasonal to regular items.

Let them eat Macarons!
