2021 French Cultures Festival

The Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Houston coordinates the French Cultures Festival (FCF) along with its 30+ cultural and educational partner institutions in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. This event brings awareness that French is spoken all over the world in 54 countries and that there are so many different cultures to discover and it also creates a connection between many different people that share in common the French language.

It all started in 1970 with the birth of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie to celebrate the French language spoken by over 300 million Francophones all over the world with 2.1 million people in the United States to honor the International Francophonie Day La Journée Internationale de la Francophonie which is celebrated on March 20th.

The French Cultures Festival (FCF ) will kick off on March 1st through March 31st and will present a total of 40 cultural and educational events this year to celebrate the French language and the diversity of French cultures. Some events will be live and others will be virtual.

From Visual Arts to Music,  Dance,  Cinema, Immersive Workshops, Educational events, Literature, Lectures,🍷 Wine tastings and Gastronomy events, you will certainly find what you are looking for… and more!
