Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2012 is one of the year’s best festivals in Indio Valley (close enough to LA) and a chance to see all of your favorites in one place! ( if you are one of the lucky ones that got their tickets back in January) The Coachella line-up 2012 promises a variety of the most groundbreaking musicians!

For the first time ever in Coachella festival’s history the festival will not only take place once but twice and repeat for two separate weekends : April 13,14,15 and April 20, 21, 22. The line-up includes: Radiohead, the Black Keys, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, David Guetta, Kaskade, Jeff Mangum, Noel Gallagher, the Arctic Monkeys, Justice, Florence and the machine, Beirut, the Weekend, Girl Talk, DJ Shadow, Santigold and many more!

Focus on David Guetta: French DJ/producer and multiplatinum artist in Europe David Guetta became the first musician to have his hands cemented at the Chinese Grauman’s Theatres when it opened a new kind of ceremony for musicians, the “Handprint Homage” last year. He has quickly become a household name and earned the title of the king of electro/pop music. Originally a DJ in nightclubs during the 1980s and 1990s, David Guetta ( born in 1967) co-founded Gum Productions and released his first album, Just a Little More Love, in 2002. Later, he released Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life(2007). His 2009 album One Love included the hit singles “When Love Takes Over” (featuring Kelly Rowland), “Gettin’ Over You” (featuring Chris Willis, Fergie & LMFAO) and “Sexy Bitch” (featuring Akon) which became a top five hit in the United States and all three reaching #1 in the U K. “Memories” featuring Kid Cudi became a top five hit in many countries as well and a third single “Without You” featuring Usher released on September 27, 2011.

Guetta also released promotional singles for Nothing But the Beat, “Titanium” featuring Sia, “Lunar” with Afrojack and “Night of Your Life” featuring Jennifer Hudson. The album also features the hit single “Sweat” with Snoop Dogg. He has sold over three million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. His latest project is a documentary about his work and life but most important the world of electro-pop music called ” Nothing but The Beat”which is out this Spring.

David Guetta is one of the most sought-after music producers and has worked with all the major artists including Madonna. As of 2012, he is the world’s most popular DJ as per the DJ Mag 100 popularity poll putting him #1!!! But beyond that; he is an innovator in the world of electronic/pop music. This is however no overnight success …he paid his dues and it’s his time. He has a real passion about music and his creativity is limitless.
