COLCOA 2012 A WEEK OF FRENCH FILM PREMIERES IN HOLLYWOOD!
COLCOA 2012 is here! The City of Lights meets the City of Angels for one extraordinary week only! The 16th annual program of COLCOA “A Week of French Film Premieres in Hollywood” is now available on www.colcoa.org. Box Office is open! 34 Features and 21 Shorts will be presented at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles from April 16 to April 23, including 51 premieres. 50 films will compete for the COLCOA Awards.

COLCOA is the largest showcase dedicated to French cinema in the US. It is presented by the Franco-American Cultural Fund, a partnership of the DGA, WGA West, the MPAA and la SACEM. The 16th COLCOA showcase will take place from April 16 to April 23, 2012, at the Directors Guild of America in Hollywood. Save the date!
What better way to open the festival with CloClo’s “My Way” a biopic about French pop star icon Claude François, directed by Florent-Emilio Siri, co-written by Siri and Julien Rappeneau and starring Jérémie Renier, Benoit Magimel. Recently released in France, My Way is already a critical and commercial success. This film will show again on Saturday , April 21. The long-awaited French mega blockbuster film in the US THE INTOUCHABLES. will close the event on Sunday, April 22nd with a special presentation, in association with The Weinstein Company. Starring François Cluzet and César winner for Best Actor Omar Sy, this hit comedy marks the fourth film from writer-directors Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano presented at COLCOA.
